General service requests are answered Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Emergency service requests, such as flooding, no heat during cold weather, broken windows, etc. will be answered as quickly as possible. If you have an emergency service request, please call (417) 832-0659 and also submit a request via email below.

If you smell gas:
- Don’t turn a light switch off or on.
- Don’t use a telephone, cell phone, or computer.
- Don’t ring a doorbell.
- Don’t use smoking devices or have open flames.
- If you smell natural gas, your equipment may not be operating properly; don’t take chances. Leave the immediate area quickly. Once you are safely away from the area of danger call CU at (417)863-9000 to report a natural gas emergency. Phones are answered 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The call is free. The service is free.
In case of flooding:
Shut off the water as soon as possible. Water shut off valves are often located under sinks or in utility closets near the water heater. Some main shutoff valves are located just below the floor in the water heater/utility closet. Simply remove the vent from the floor for access.
