Wise House is approximately
100 years old and is located in an older, established neighborhood. It is a few
blocks west of the Missouri State University campus, and is near the MSU free
shuttle bus which transports students to the main campus and downtown
branches of the university.
Wise
House has two bedrooms high ceilings, large windows, and retains much of its
original charm. Our builders completely restored it with new electrical,
plumbing and insulation upgrades. The oak floors have been
refinished, and a new bathroom and kitchen installed, both with ceramic
tiled floors, and other amenities.
Pictures on this web site illustrate the interior improvements. Note the
Living Room has a built-in entertainment center which is pre-wired for
cable and phone, etc. All rooms have ceiling fans. Bedroom closets
are cedar lined.
The
kitchen has new cabinets. Appliances are provided, including a built-in
microwave, gas range, refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, stainless
steel sink and a garbage disposer.
The
Laundry Room has a back door entrance and is spacious enough to
accommodate a bicycle or similar items. Included is a washer and dryer.
The laundry room has a ceramic tile floor.
Popular features of the Wise House include the covered front porch which faces
South Avenue, and the small brick patio in the back yard which is
suitable for cook-outs. A nice amenity is the full basement. While we do
not guarantee it to be 100% dry in the rainy season, we have not as yet
experienced any water issues. The basement is ideal for hobbies, bicycles,
etc.
There
is a large back yard on the east side of the house and a private drive
way and parking area adequate for two cars. Additional parking is
available on South Avenue.
As a rule,
pets are not allowed on Graham Properties; however, this house qualifies
for a pet under certain conditions, which can be negotiated between the
Landlord and tenant.
The Landlord takes care of
all maintenance and landscaping.
